..... was told A&M was expecting 900 to 1000, and UT around 1300+
A&M closes registration today, at midnight. Does anyone know the current number of PNM's who have registered. My daughter was at Fish Camp two weeks ago, and said that only 2 girls in her group were participating in recruitment. I'm wondering if their numbers might be low this year. Either way, Gig Em!

I heard from an Aggie alum friend that their numbers are probably in the 800 range. She had seen 775 a week ago. Best of luck to your daughter. Tell her to go in with a very open mind. With A&M joining the SEC this year, I have a feeling that even the weakest chapters will be strengthened due to SEC reputations. I have heard that the chapters are getting loads of support from their national orgs. and many fun things are planned for the year. There is no reason that every chapter there can't be full and fabulous!

Another update - 900 registered, but some might drop before. I think that is about the same as last year from what my friend said. No new colonies, so 12 groups total.

Thank you Delta-adpi for the update! We've packed all the dresses, shoes, and accessories and are heading down to College Station tomorrow for move in and convocation!

Good Luck! Make sure to write up a recruitment story so I can know how everything went at A&M.
