Make sure if you know any girls who are currently in any of the chapters that you let them know you are interested, may have schedule conflicts and will attend everything you can. That way if there is discussion during member selection, those girls can know to go to bat for you. They CAN'T guarantee you anything, but expressing your interest can help a lot. And you want to do that now, before strict silence kicks in and they're not allowed to talk to you (if that applies at your school).
