That's essentially Cinci, Columbus (though a little SE, bordering on random Appalachia, near where we just moved to), CLE, Cinci (near where we just moved from), Columbus, CLE (Vi, you're thinking of Kings Mills, which is Cinci), Cinci, and Cinci.

I encouraged her, and reminded her that there are girls there that this may have been their 1st choice, everyone is different y'know, and she might be making them feel bad. She's such a sucker.....hates to make someone feel bad, so hopefully things will work out well. and as DeltaBetaBaby said, she doesn't have to make all those decisions tonight. Thanks so much again for the kind words! Its been a helluva long day!

I'm very happy to hear she is giving it a shot. This could be her ONLY shot. We all know how competitive AU is.

I wish I got contacted for recs more often. Not gonna likely happen in my neck of the woods now!

Thanks YAUmom and AUMom2011. I placed an order through Tiger Surprise yesterday and it was delivered this afternoon. My daughter has spoken highly of the sisterhood and how down to earth the girls are. She was greeted with tons of hugs today.

I started getting messages through FB. I post all of our alumnae chapter events on FB and am our self-appointed pubicity chair. They find my name and it goes from there. Because our area doesn't do Panhellenic teas and Greek Life is often a foreigh concept, I do anything I can to accommodate them.
BTW...Gates Mills = $$$$$$$ and Shaker is old money.

TNAuburnMom, I'm guessing your daughter is from TN given your screen name, my daughter is also from TN. I told her to be on the lookout for girls from TN, I scanned the bid list it looks like they took at least 4 -5.

I am so glad that all the girls are so happy!!!! I really think my dau's unhappiness is because she got her 3rd choice, not the choice itself. Hopefully she can move past that. Its like she had a huge global meltdown today and needed 4 xanax!! Its that 'this only happened to me and I'm gonna cry about it because I want to' kind of thing. I know there were girls that were cut out of rush, or cut themselves out, so I think she's being a little selfish. Tomorrow is a new day, and she's coming home to pick up some things, hopefully her self-confidence will be there as well.
Thanks so much everyone, its been a difficult day, and ya'll made it better!!!!
