thank you
I would think that would be great for skits! Wait for another confirmation, but I think it would be cute with a cardigan...

Why would you wear a cardigan in the middle of summer in Texas? Sounds pretty hot to me.

Depending on the material that may be too casual. Skit is a step up from a sundress.

yes you are right.I took another white dress but I am afraid it might be too dressy/classy for skit. I was thinking about wearing it with gold color heels...

Hello,
My recruitment dress is a little bit like this one. http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/js-bouti...=&resultback=0

But it is longer( just before the knees). I don't think that it is too tight. I ask people in the store and they said that it looks cute on me. Is it good enough for pref?

I am confused. What night is this for? And why would you worry that it might be too tight? It is a very loose style. Girls wear black to pref at UT.

The link I just post( the black dress) is for preference night. I heard that it should be formal and dressy. The one I bought looks like this one. It is tight maybe but not too much. I was wondering if it seems dressy and formal. Can I wear it at pref?

The second question is I plan to wear a " little white dress" at skit night with a gold color shoes but I am afraid it might be too dressy for skit.

Sorry to bother you with all those questions. I have nobody to help me or to advise me.

Thank you so much

This dress is white.
I think it will work for skit since it is dressy but not black. I do not see your link for a black dress.

If you are comfortable in this dress - can sit without showing too much thigh (or crotch!), will not be tugging at the off shoulder or pulling it up, your strapless bra works and will not show, AND you are thin enough to pull it off without heavy duty spanks, then I think it will work. One shoulder stuff is very popular.

I think a simple, classic black dress is called for at this pref round. And, technically, this is just that. This dress is, however, a style that can be uncomfortable.

Just my opinion! Some of the GC Texans may differ and I defer to them.

thank you so much. I am really thin and I looked for a dress that I would like but none of them pleased me enough. Mine is not too tight for sure and stop just before the knees. I plan to wear it with gold or silver jewelries and shoes. Maybe that will give it a dressier style/look

I actually own that dress, and it's definitely more on the sexy side than the classy side on me. Were you realistic about it in the dressing room (as opposed to burnt out from trying on dresses and ready to settle on anything)? I'm 5'7", size 5/6 with a decent waist and more butt than boobs and it's definitely ass-tastic on me. I'm able to pull it down to a respectable length but it rides up after walking for a bit. I can make it get to just above the knee if I'm standing still, but after moving it comes to just below the fingertips, like on the model. I wore it to a fraternity semiformal and it was great, but I think it's a no for pref since it's so figure-hugging. I know it would absolutely be a no from our recruitment chair for sister attire during pref (we also do black dress at my school).

Off topic: why do models always pose so weird? In the picture she looks hunched and almost as if she is going to be sick/faint. Why?
