Anthill Pie-crushed Oreo crust with Peppermint ice cream and Oreo crumbs on top. We served it at prefs.(all 4 years I was in college) and had it occasionally as dessert on Thursday nights-guest night. I make it every Christmas season.

It was one of our chapter's favorite desserts...and mine! Our house Mom always made sure it was on the menu at least twice a month! Another chapter favorite were the rice krispy treats. Our cooks made them two ways: plain and peanut butter with melted chocolate chips on the top. We had them every Friday night at walk through dinner. And my all time favorite lunches grilled cheese and tomato soup, we had it once a week.

We had this too only we called it grasshopper pie. I was never partial to it, but we served it at our pref parties and it was special to most of my sisters. I believe the Pi Phis on my campus had it as well...

I don't associate a specific food to Alpha Gam but at Convention, all the meals have a red food item, yellow food item and green food item.
Yea, it can get imaginative, lol.

Remember the strawberry soup at the Centennial convention? Most foods are either red, buff or green, if you think about it. It would be much worse for some other GLOs, like Tri Sigmas or Alpha Xi Deltas if they only ate food that fit their sorority colors at their Conventions!

I preffed at Alpha Gamma Delta and they served strawberries, cheesecake and green grapes. Observant suck-up as I am, I made note of it to my hostess. She was most pleased.
Now, as for my stroll down memory lane, a lot of them have been mentioned here, but...
Clearly Canadian - because the year I rushed, that's what our house served at the ice water round, and they got dinged for it. Hahaha!
Cokes in the little glass bottles, which were a staple of the second round parties not only at our house...
Froot Loops. Because I ate them every day for breakfast...
Gumby's Pizza, with Pokey Stix. Garbage pizza, but I loved it.
Cheese straws, which along with petit fours (decorated with icing violets) and strawberries were our pref party refreshment.

Oh I remember that Strawberry Soup. I wasn't a fan.
My chapter events always included SEVEN LAYER DIP. The Sarahs always seemed to make enough Seven Layer Dip to feed the Duggars 3 times. It's because of this that I haven't eaten Seven Layer Dip in YEARS!

BK chicken with cheese sandwich, Honey Buns, and blueberry pancakes. There aren't any drinks that remind me of Kappa.
