intent to disparage? There is no "Blackface Formula" (my use of "and" versus "or" is inconsequential). Whether or not something is blackface is not based on whether someone thought they were imitating (I guess in admiration) rather than mocking. The
outcome if interracial imitation is usually a mockery because people consider it unnecessary and offensive.
