Is Someone Drowning College Men?

I know a couple people who know this kid and his family personally because he's from a suburb of Lansing, MI. It made me think of this story, which is frightening.

"They say markings left at the scenes prove that link. In at least five states, Kevin Gannon says a smiley face with devil horns was painted or drawn near the spot where the men went in the water. ...... Gannon says among other markings found at the scene of a drowning in Michigan was the word "sinsiniwa." It didn't make sense to detectives until Kruziki's body was found. He was last seen on Sinsiniwa Avenue in East Dubuque."

This gave me the chills and the fact that both scenes were 450 miles apart just gives more credence (to me at least) that these cases are not accidents.
