That's not what I mean.
I mean it more like in an "I'm a transplant and therefore I try too hard to fit into what I think an OC-er is supposed to be and look like" kind of way.
I know a lot of people who move out west and try too hard or move to NYC and try too hard to fit in and be "New York-y" (or at least what they think is New Yorky.)
Not meaning "Michigan is janky." Just that midwestern culture and OC culture are just different.
