How does informal recruitment work??

just a little bit update i dont really wanna start another thread since i dont know whats the final result yet. soo due to the conflict schedule( both from different sorority events and class schedule), i ended up only be able to go to all the events from ONE house( lets call it ABC)... i have to "cut" all the others because the conflicts i mentioned.. and from the first ABC event,i found out that most PNM are friends with the girls in ABC, and unfortunately im not friends with anyone.... and i heard there is only like 4 or 5 empty spots, and 20 some girls were rushing....i feel really hopeless...

should i just give up and try it again in the fall?? or is fall recruitment in general easier than spring??

Fall isn't "easier" but you do get to avoid the kerfuffle of sororities scheduling events at the same time. If you feel like you've been basically forced to put all your eggs in this basket, I would just wait and try again in the fall, even if it means you'll be in an older class.

Yeah, it sounds like you picked the wrong group to focus on. Informal can be that way. It's a shame that Panhell doesn't make them stagger their parties so they don't overlap, at least for the initial sets. Good luck with formal recruitment.
