For the record, re Buffett, from another thread:
Get over it, guys. When I saw Buffett at the University of Alabama in 1978, someone stuck a Kappa Sig visor on the end of a crutch and handed it to him from the floor. Buffett took it, looked at, said "Man I quit that s--t a long time ago, I'm a GDI!"

Get over it frat rats, Buffett has dis-owned you!

I'm not sure it could get much clearer than that.

I'm not sure it could get much clearer than that.

It was the 70s. Being Greek wasn't the "cool" thing to do. I'm sure he pranced about in letters many times in the 1980s and since then.

Being Greek has never been an uncool thing at the University of Alabama where Buffett was flashing his GDI-ness.

Actually he flunked out of Auburn first, and wound up graduating from Southern Miss. I have no idea about the guitar part.

I think he's reclaimed it. But I have not heard of any big donations to Kappa Sigma so far. Maybe when his son starts college.
