I can just see us trying to pull that off with some of our sons. Two, as infants and young children, just had these big "boy" heads-- you know, like some tomcats have? Their sisters hardly bothered with trying to sneak the occasional dress on them because they looked all wrong in them.
The other 2, curly-haired with huge blue eyes, could have passed for girls while babies (an old lady to me while I was holding one: "That baby girl is going to break a lot of little boys' hearts some day,"

) but by toddlerhood, it was clear that they were males.
