I have had many discussions with Beta representatives, including our Director of Expansion, and the response I have gotten in regards to Beta's expansion, is that we are trying to get back to schools in which we were at, rather than massively expanding to any ordinary school under the sun, like you have seen in some of the late 1800 and early 1900 fraternities. Hence, I believe that is why they may be spending some resources to get back to SDSU, similar to our 3 re-orgs at our Alpha Chapter (Miami Univ., Oxford, OH - 1839) in the past 7 years. Now, with the proper reorganization with many many man hours and resources, they have basically stormed that campus.
Lastly, TKEmz894, I understand your love for TKE, but TKE is not the only fraternity out there, so if someone happens to say TKE in their posting, relax a bit.
Also, does anyone know how a fraternity can continue to exist at a University without the recognition of the University, without being considered 'underground'? Makes no sense to me that if the Univ. doesn't want you there, how the HQ continues to let them live. Support is one thing, ignoring the Univ. is another.
