I'm not going to say, "all" Italian men are full of BS, but will say, "based on my experience", all Itailian men I have encountered are full of BS. All of that gushing makes me very uncomfortable so I typically have only one date with a man like that.
Loved the scene with Russell. Cynthia really should listen to his ideas.

FINALLY! Some feedback! Interesting assessment. I've never had the pleasure of dating Italian men, but have always WANTED to for the very reason you gave as why you don't. Maybe if I ever get the opportunity, my attitude will change, but as of right now, ... even Danny Devito is hot.
Seriously, though, ... I don't know how I feel about Peter's lip service while Cynthia was trying to plan this event. Men always expect us to be supportive of them, but when WE'RE trying to do something, we get defiance and resistance from them. It's not fair.
And Sheree seems to really be going THROUGH it with the whole child support thing, while Kim's life has changed for the better within just a matter of months. Amazing how things change so quickly.

I enjoyed watching Cynthia's gathering. I love her photos. She's a great model.
Where the hell did Peter go? I can understand why he was not so involved with the development of it all. She asked to be the lead and for everything to be based on her. I hope they are not competing with each other.
@ Marlo. I guess she's supposed to be the new "bad girl." Do better than that next time, Bravo.

Sure, I can understand that, but most men always take credit for building their businesses and their empires all by themselves, but still expect their WOMEN to help them behind the scenes. So I feel Cynthia can expect the same from her man as well. I think that's why she kept reminding him, "We're a TEAM!" Men get very insecure when a woman becomes powerful, and Peter displayed that when he disappeared during such an important event.

LMAO!! Yeah, I agree ... and as socially balanced as Kandi has always seemed to be, I was really surprised that she tried to pull that with Marlo. Come on, ... anyone would know not to ask a question like that over-the-air. Sorry, Kandi ... I didn't fall for it that time.

No, a woman who does work behind the scenes is a woman who gets credit for helping to build. That's how real men do it, my significant other included.
Based on what we get to see on camera:
Cynthia and Peter should have communicated the expectations. Lack of communication is the problem. I do not assume that Peter is insecure over her success or not supportive. This stuff is not common sense. Different people expect different things which is why couples talk to each other. If Cynthia says "you can chill out...I'm going to do this by myself," Peter needs to interpret that exactly how she said it. It was not until the end that she reached out for Peter's assistance. It can be annoying when someone wants you to leave them alone until they want to be bothered with you. I think Cynthia is the one competing since she is the one who brought up the fact that both she and Peter have started businesses and may be competing with each other. She is the one who brought that up.

Kandi should have just asked "you are quite the ATL socialite, what do you do for a living?" I think Marlo is a loser.

I agree. Her whole come-back to Kandi was, "I heard you're a 'Big Mama' where you take care of guys ..." Um, ... WHAT?! I'm so glad Kandi didn't even waste her time acknowledging the comment. That was the most desperate grasp for a straw I'd ever seen, ... and a pretty pathetic one to say the least.

I don't think I've ever watched this shoow but being stuck in a hospital bed for a couple of hours and flipping the tv channels, I figured I should watch it.
I did...for about 5 minutes.
It was an older episode where Kim was still pregnant and at a restuarant with Korey (is that how you spel it).
I kept thinking, boy, she needs to lay off the Botoxed lips! And dress better.
Oh well, they are definiately not the Atlanta housewives I know in real life.
Next time, I'll just keep flippin!

What a boring episode ...
I'm starting to really like Nene more and more. As crazy as she gets when somebody disrespects her, the woman still has some morals and values. Kandi's mom made everyone very uncomfortable asking everyone to be friends again, but Nene never disrespected her ever. She didn't have to raise all up and go nuts at this woman, even though she didn't want to do what was asked. She just politely refused to discuss it. I think that says a lot about her.
Phaedra, on the other hand, who looked like a 13-year-old trying to do the African dance, strikes me as one who will do absolutely ANYthing. For starters, I personally have my reservations about a woman who makes a habit of checking out other women's "boo-tays". I'm also willing go so far as to say that I think she has Apollo hoodoo'd or something.
I was very surprised at Kandi going to great lengths to see all of Marlo's mugshots. She's way too secure for that kind of stuff. Save that Basketball Wives.

I am so bored with this show that I no longer record it when I'm not home. There is nothing really that exciting about it.
-Cynthia is a bore, but she will have a story line next year when I'm sure she will file for divorce from Peter.
-Sheree has no real story line,
-If I hear "Celebrity Apprentice" one more time, I'm going to scream (Nene, move on),
-Phaedra's only story line is the Diva Funeral Home.
-Candy branching into country music is really clawing for a story line.
-and we will see Kim and Kroy in their own show.

Ah yes, and mugshot Marlo. Will she be a housewife next season?

I agree, Benzgirl, except Candy is Kandi.
It's funny because when we see these women living semi-normal lives, it is boring. There is no reason to watch a show about people living normal lives. There needs to be something that draws us. I do not want the constant arguing and fighting. I just want something more than this.

I'm not sure I agree completely. For example, on Beverly Hills, Camille and Adrienne have had no real story line this year and they aren't fighting with anyone, but we still like them.
Personally, I think some of the shows have jumped the shark but they continue to air.

I am inclined to have to agree with you here, although I think Kandi is actually pretty legitimate. Whether the cameras were on her or not, I think she'd write songs for whoever loves her work. But the sex toy line? Come on ... This is the kind of stuff that bothers me about Atlanta Housewives. Why is sex such an open topic of discussion with them? You don't see that kind of stuff on Beverly Hills, New York or Orange County Housewives. (New Jersey, however ... )
I think Charles Grant was right when he said "Atlanta is a pretend city". I think Sheree is such a pretty lady, and should probably consider modeling. But I can't help thinking about all the changes she's making ( i.e., her new "chateau" and her new car) which indicates that there is either some sugar 'daddy' around, or she has put her mother's name on, not only the chateau, but on EVERYTHING. What happened to her fashion line? I thought she was trying to get into acting at one point. Right now, she just seems to be trying to get in anywhere she can fit in.
And Nene seems to have REALLY changed alot. Her persona on Watch What Happens LIVE told me that she is in a very good place right now. She didn't even clown when audiences voted that she and Kim should make up and be friends again. She simply said, "I understand ..."
The rest of them, I can take 'em or leave 'em. I don't even wanna TALK about Phaedra. My cousin is an attorney in Florida, and feels that Phaedra is an embarrassment to all attorneys. I believe it.

O ... M ... G!!! I don't believe these women!! I never would've thought Atlanta Housewives could get much worst. I am so embarrassed for all parties involved tonight. Even Nene was shocked. Sheree and Nene were cordial enough just for Nene to try to be a peacemaker. But I am sooooooo disappointed in Cynthia's behavior, because this was all her fault. She NEVER should've taken the info back to Nene and Marlo that way. That was MESSY!
I've never been to Africa, so it was really nice to see how beautiful Cape Town, South Africa is. Shame these silly women were about to ruin it for everyone. Marlo and the whole "etiquette" thing is overdone with seven mugshots. The way she gave the "concierge" the 3rd degree insisting to know "which housekeepers are working, ... the names, too, ... if they leave early or sick, contact me ... I'll give you my cell number." SERIOUSLY?!?! You're probably doing TOO much, Marlo.
And, as for Kim and her lovely new life, I got so tickled at how she kept squinting at her father's antics. I'm so happy for Kim and where she is right now in her life. She looked great on Watch What Happens with Andy Cohen tonight, and seems so in love with Kroy. But I also noticed how much MORE she seems to be complaining about Sweetie, and how she should "step it up". I also haven't forgotten about Kroy's comments, too, from a few episodes back, in which he felt that Sweetie needed to be organized herself in order to help someone else. I have a feeling Sweetie might be looking for another job soon.
