I understand she wants to be a part of something already established and all the D9 sororities are great! but she did mention having specific interest in one org before having met any of the ladies, and I am just encouraging her to look at all her options, not trying to give a comment on rush styles.

When rushing/joining an NPHC group, you are supposed to "know where your heart is"
before attending rush events. Looking at all the groups publicly and telling them you aren't sure where you want to join is taboo. It will result in your not being invited to join ANY sorority.
