Hubby and I walked out of "Before Sunrise," with Ethan Hawke. It was pretty terrible.
I fell asleep during one of the "Lord of the Rings" at the theater - maybe the last one? All I remember is conking out and waking up and still an hour from the end. It was sooo long.
At home, I fall asleep during movies quite often. It really has to engage me if I'm watching after 10pm.

Harlem Nights- was my first date where my parents allowed me to go with just the boy (rather than a group date or something). Date went as well as the movie.
Species. horrible movie; another first date but the date went much better because we were making so much fun of the movie. Ended up dating that guy for 2 years.

Walked out of Paranormal Activity and Cloverfield. Not because they were really bad but because I get motion sickness. I got really sick watching both of them and will NEVER see another movie that is bouncy like that.

I didn't walk out, but I thought 'Why did I get married too' was corny as hell. Most of it was unrealistic and just wouldn't happen in real life. It looked like Tyler Perry just threw that one together to get a quick (very large) check. I came close to walking out, though.

The Big Lebowski occupies a weird place, because it's both an auteur work and an oddball (semi-stoner) comedy. It may be the Coens' weirdest film, which is saying a lot given their catalog.
It's definitely, definitely a polarizing movie - I think it's an insanely clever combination of disparate forms (heist/mistaken-identity tales, anti-hero noir, slapstick, a sort of faux Americana, and to top it off, the story itself is an adaptation of Chandler's The Big Sleep).
At the same time, the film is bizarrely reliant on mood/atmosphere, and the characters are quixotic at best - I can completely see why some wouldn't be able to embrace any of the individual elements, particularly when one of the keys is the soundtrack.

I just saw one yesterday. "Drive" with Ryan Gosling. It was so bad. I think the script was 5 pages...maybe. So little dialogue. The worst part was, he didn't even take off his shirt.

We walked out of "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." After 5 minutes. I just didn't need or want to see that.

My husband LOVES this movie. You missed the puppet musical of Dracula that I've been forced to sit through innumerable times. The only saving grace is Russell Brands' character. He is so nutty that you can't help but laugh.

My husband is a great gauge for all bad movies. If he stays awake it's a passable movie. If he falls asleep... well it must be bad! I tend to hold out to the bitter end. But I think one of the hardest for me to stay with was the Twilight movies (any of them!) that mopey Kristin Stewart (can she smile or alter her vocal intonation at all??) and Robert Pattinson. Ug. Grab your wand (he was much more likeable as Harry Potters enemy) All the back and forth with the vampire/werewolf and rain and more rain, dull colors... I'm nodding off at the thought!

I thought this movie would show up in the "bad ending" thread. I liked the movie overall but the unreality was a touch overwhelming. And I now understand why Tyler gave it the ending he did but....yeah still. No.
Now I kinda wanna watch the first one.
