I know this is hypocritical, but she's one of those music scene cat's eye glasses girls, so this is nothing new. I've been ripping new ones in those silly chicas for years.

The Second Mile was founded by Sandusky, at least, that's what reports are saying. If you know that it was not, feel free to correct me.

Just saw some footage from the riot. Wow, just wow. I know quite a few people who go to Penn State and the overwhelming majority of the students there, as you would imagine, are on Joe's side.

Ooooh I can't stand those sanctimonious heffas.

One of my college BFFs is in documentary film and all of her doc buddies are just like that. They think I'm a perpetrator of white male-dominated frat rat culture--if that's any indication of how crazy they are.

Yes, I know that. I was making the point that he founded it for those types of children (ones who were at-risk and possibly from broken-homes). That is why I made that statement.

Right. My point, I guess I was trying to put it delicately, was that perhaps he founded it for those type of children because that was the type of child he thought he could get away with victimizing, and a charity is a real nice cover for that kind of contact.

Oh, I get what you are saying now. Yeah, I wouldn't disagree with that statement. It makes me sick! He deserves a slow painful death. For both his safety and McQueary's safety, after seeing the riots the other night--they would both be wise to stay off campus (or anywhere near it).

I feel sorry for them as it isn't cheap (it's not Ivy prices, but it isn't cheap for many of its students) to go there and the value of their diploma probably has dipped a tad-bit. At least for a while.

No one expects you to feel sorry for students or alumni but, have some empathy-have some heart for the people who just found out that horrible stuff was going on at their alma mater. There are some of us who are completely disgusted by what was done that we are trying to turn this into something where we can help victims by raising money for RAINN through donation and buying shirts with all proceeds going towards Prevent Child Abuse. Have some empathy that everything we have ever stood for (thanks to the university that has helped shape us) now stands for corruption and cover-up. Just think about that before you laugh at those of us who are grieving.

Now THIS bothers me..

If Penn State wants to fire Paterno and Spanier, ok.. If they want to clean house ASAP, fine.. But it looks like McCreary will actually be coaching this Saturday's game.

^^^Just saw that on Yahoo. How can they justify firing Paterno and Spanier and still letting this guy coach?

ETA: and let's face it.. Paterno was supposedly fired because he didn't meet a moral obligation to report a crime to the authorities. Neither did McCreary. Why is Paterno out but McCreary gets to stay?

Likely not, since he was reported to, and not making the initial report (besides the "chain of command" issues).

The PA Governor just refused to respond on McQueary at all, which indicates there's likely legal issues yet unresolved.
