Some of my greatest memories in my short time in APO was my 2 initiations into pledgehood and brotherhood, of course. The night that we discoevered who our bigs were was real fun. Our bigs were tied to a piece og string on the opposite side of a glass with our names on them. The only trick was that the strings were all tangled togther and it became a scavenger hunt. My glass actually ended up tied to the wrong person, so I had to be switched at birth, lol. Banquet was tight too, b/c thats when I got my jersey and all that jazz, but also b/c my big brother spoiled me rotton with these lil gifts (a talking Pooh bear, a gold lavalier with the letters and some earrings; damn I love that girl).
Something thats stands out, but wasn't all that fun, was this brotherhood where we spent hours on one issue involving a pledge that would be dropped if an absense from pledge class wasn't excused. Boy was that memorable. And that same issue, and same person, came up again two more times. Once at the final pledge review, for one last chance and once again after the line had crossed; Buffalo Soldier knows what I'm talking about. Str8 drama.
But it has all been all-to the-good. I honestly cant wait until more time has passed, so I can gain more memories. New Orleans will definitely be on the list, b/c I know I will meet a lot of interesting brothers and learn some strolls and chants, something I don't get to do at my chapter. Ooooo, I can't wait.
