Since sororities are private organizations and can choose members based on any criteria they choose, I can't imagine such form would exist. Letting you into a class and requiring the teacher to give you special accommodation is not the same as requiring a private club to do the same. But DBB is right. Ask your Greek Life office.

Why couldn't a form exist? The chapters could entirely ignore it, but that doesn't mean that SDS hasn't dealt with this before.

Ag1, I'm not saying you couldn't make it. I'm saying pointing this fact out to them could be misunderstood. You could mean it to explain that you are extremely diligent and have done an excellent job of overcoming your obstacles. They could take it as you are always one step away from failure. My concern is about over-sharing.

Just curious: Your MS process and criteria are such that you can tell PNMs all that stuff (ex: you get bonus points?) And you know for sure that every chapter auto invites all legacies back to 14 Party? This is not me being snarky. I'm just asking because I tend to not speak on the official policies on other orgs outside my own.

In years past, the number of legacies individual chapters had probably factored in the decision of whether to give them the automatic invitation to 14. Chapters will smaller number of legacies usually tried to invite them back, chapters who had 100+ legacies usually did not invite them all back. The year I went through, all of the girls in my rush group got invited back to their legacy chapters for 14 party, except one. But, we all knew in advance that this chapter had over 100 legacies coming through. The open house round lasts 30 minutes per chapter, I know that near the end of each day I tended to get tired. I am sure I was not the only one. I think chapters are more likely to take a chance and invite a legacy back since there are two more rounds after 14 and so many women going through. However, this is my speculation based on past experience and information picked up since from PNMs/current chapter members I know personally.

January 5-6, 2012 - First Invite (14 party)
January 7, 2012 - Second Invite (8 party)
January 8, 2012 - Preference Round (3 party)
January 9, 2012 - Bid Night
It's getting closer. I was hoping for a recruitment story or two, but it looks like we're out of luck this year.

True! I know a couple of young women going through, so I will get a small fix. They gave me the run down of their impressions from 20 party. Hopefully they will have successful week, they are going in prepared.

I'm so excited for this! I want Theta Phi to proved that an unhoused sorority can still be awesome.

Good luck to all the IU chapters! I'm always excited to hear how things go for other Indiana schools.

This year was IU's toughest recruitment so far. About 1800 girls entered recruitment. With pledge classes so large last year, most houses had PCs of about 30 or so... combine that with 20 houses, that's less than 50% bid placement.
