Okay, did anyone catch 90210? Two of the characters "pledged" a sorority. The story was so poorly written. Didn't anyone on that show go through rush/recruitment? They got all of the terminology and process wrong.

There was a row of tables outside, where each sorority was handing out flyers. After tossing each flyer that the "loser" sororities handed them, Naomi and Annie chose one to "pledge".

Each one of them was given three "trials of fire" by their "big sister" and if they completed it, they would become members. Hilarity ensues as Naomi has to eat dinner with a farm animal, walk across campus in her underwear, and then has to zipline across the football field in the rival team's mascot costume.

Annie had to kiss a statue of Abraham Lincoln, kiss a "frat guy" and something else I can't remember. Then they had initiation. Plot twist and spoiler - they didn't anticipate Naomi completing the tasks (she was set up to fail for some "unknown" reason!!! zOMG!!!?!) so they had initiation without her.

But wait! She gets there just in time...to be told that they had it in for her the whole time because she bought the mansion that the sorority wanted to buy for their new house. Lame. And yes I realize I am lame for watching it but it was just so poorly done - I had to!

You're not the only one that watched. I've never watched the show before, but I tuned in for this episode because I saw it advertised earlier that day. I was also annoyed that they referred to the chapter the girls were rushing as "Kappa." I always get annoyed when TV shows/movies use real nicknames for their fake organizations.
