It's a serving job, it's not rocket science. I had very little fine dining experience when I started. Regardless I know girls who've worked at hooters who make substantial income and I'm willing to bet most city (Podunk of the Podunk) have a hooters and they hire any girl. M point being Not everyone can strip either, I sure as hell can't. Morals aside my body just doesnt bend and move that way and i was blessed with the body of a 13 year old girl lol Nothing against it but look at what that draya( spell check) on basketball wives la said.. " I strip because I like things" not to pay my way through school. I don't buy into to half of that kind of like I don't listen to the homeless man at the gas pump asking for money so he can pay his health insurance.

Most cities don't have Hooters either. There's only 455 of them in the country. I'm going with your perception of reality is more than a little skewed.

Also complete sentences with all the words and no missing punctuation just are not your forte.

You type on an ipad with rediculous auto correct / predective text and let me know how it goes. And I'm not sure where you live but it must be nowhere thats inhabited. My reality just isn't as old, outdated, or washed up as yours must be. If you have time to research how many Hooters there are, you need a life.

I wasn't thinking of your tender reading eyes when I posted. In any case, I once considered it a viable opportunity and, clearly, there are plenty of women who think about it and follow through on the thought. I completely understand the draw, but the reality of it is so much worse, in my opinion, than any benefit.

I'm replying to you on my phone right now. Let's see how I do.

Good to know that cities of 75-100k are totally uninhabited. Wonder why I have neighbors though if that's the case. I mean how do we live without the civilization that is crappy wings served by women in hot pants!

Your reality makes a lot of assumptions about the world that suggests you're pretty sheltered.

Finally, ye olde "you have no life" line says you're a teenager or are just about as clever as one with your insults. (That's not fair; I know smarter teenagers.) But you're right the two minutes I used to search wikipedia while talking to my girlfriend and watching Doctor Who and posting on GC have now PROVEN my lack of a life! I'd have guessed it would have been the Doctor Who, myself, but what can you do?

Also, your writing still sucks.

Strip Club Patron: "Hey! Just swing from the damn pole and shut up with the life story. I don't care what you're doing with the money I give you. Pop your ass just like the rest of them ass poppers."
Lol! This post had me ctfu. I agree with all of this. She wasn't giving me a lap dance, but as we were leaving, I guess that was the end of her shift, because we talked to her as she was leaving. We just asked her on average how much they make a night. She volunteered the rest of the story. I think they just want people to look at stripping like any other profession, so they talk about it to people like it's any other profession.

Serving at restaurants isn't easy. I did it all through college, and I've seen people who just weren't cut out for it. No, it isn't rocket science, but it isn't easy either.

I'll be honest here: if it's strip or starve for ME, no thanks, I'd dumpster dive for cans to recycle or whatever. If it's strip or my kids starve...pass the pole. Fortunately, my husband wouldn't let that happen. He'd do WHATEVER it takes to keep me from having to do something like that. I recognize that some women aren't so lucky.

A serving job that makes hundreds of dollars per night is rocket science in most cities.

I hear ya! Either that or a way to excuse themselves from the "just another stripper" category.

MY LAP DANCE WAS A DIFFERENT KIND OF LAP DANCE!!! A STUDENT LOAN LAP DANCE!!! THIS IS A FUTURE MEDICAL DOCTOR'S ASS YOU'RE SMACKING. RECOGGGGGNIIIIIIIIZE!!!!

LOL at all the stripper med students, lawyers and grad students. I'm sure men find it a lot sexier to have a future doctor giving them a lap dance than a dead in the eyes grug addict with three kids.

I don't have any problem with what she is doing. It is her body, her life and her business.

I have a lot more respect for her than for someone who sits on her ass all day and expects to be subsidized by the tax payers.
