side note: I saw you in the "users online" list so I clicked your name and it said "is currently responding to 'Better Be...'" and I decided not to go to bed till I saw the ending!

Congratulations, Melinda! I'm so glad your story will not be coming to an end. I was keeping my fingers crossed for you and SDT and kaeb who'd get a bunch of PM'd "WHAT!!!"s if you hadn't gotten a bid like we had a say or something!

Talk about the interfering alumnae from hell! I am seriously laughing out loud thinking of it. Yes, I'm 45, no I'm not an SDT, no I've never met her in person, no I've never even visited USC, but how could you not pick her? Are you crazy? I'm calling your national right this minute!

Thank you all! I'm going to miss posting this! But I'm so glad to have found my home. psusue, that is one excellent Dumbledore quote. It would also make an amazing signature. I wish I had a book of Dumbledore quotes-he really "said" some inspiring things.
