BETTYE MULLER
Heard that this is a very strong chapter with many beauty queens and the highest GPA. I know one girl that pledged hear last year.
CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN
I have heard good things about this chapter from friends and I know that they had a great advisor!
EMMA HOPE
Heard that this is a very strong chapter, doesn’t take OOS, or girls outside of their social stratum.
FOOTCANDY
I have heard almost nothing about this chapter.
HUNTER
I have very little knowledge about this chapter. A few girls from HS pledged here and based on that I am not interested.
JIMMY CHOO
Heard that this is a very strong chapter with many great girls. A friend pledged here last year.
KATE SPADE
Heard that this is a very strong chapter with many great girls. I know a few from HS that have pledged here. I have never heard anything bad about them.
LOEFFLER RANDALL
I know a few girls from HS that pledged here and ones at other campuses.
MANOLO BLAHNIK
I have no knowledge about this chapter.
PACIOTTI
I have very little knowledge about this chapter.
PATRICIA GREEN
Heard that this is a very strong chapter.
SIGERSON MORRISON
My strongest rec of all is for this chapter from an Ole Miss alum.
TORY BURCH
Heard that this is a strong chapter with many great girls. I know a couple from HS.
VALENTINO
I know a couple of girls from HS that pledged here and have heard great thing about this chapter.
VINCE CAMUTO
I know a few girls from HS that pledged here as well as ones at other campuses.

This is my first stop today. While waiting to go in a girl in my group kept talking about how she was a legacy and should get a bid from them. Once we went in I was very nervous and had a hard time keeping conversations moving along. All of the girls are so put together. If this is how rush is going to be I will be a complete failure.
FOOTCANDY
This is my second house today and I am still very nervous. I liked all of the girls who rushed me. They were funny and nice. Most seemed to know something about me and they made me feel comfortable. I liked this house and hope to be invited back.
BETTYE MULLER
While waiting to go in there was a lot of talk from girls in my group about this house. OMG I didn’t know this many gorgeous girls were together outside of Hollywood! They were all so nice and seemed to know all about me. The conversation was easy. I liked this house a lot!
KATE SPADE
Again there was lots of talk in my group about this house. Everything I had heard before seems to be true. What a great group of girls. Conversation was so easy I was matched with girls in my major. This could be my new home! I loved it here and did not want to leave. I just had a great feeling about them. I hope they liked me too.
HUNTER
Lots of talk while waiting to go inside. I had a hard time staying silent since so much talk lined up with my thoughts of girls I know in this house. Well sometimes you just know in advance. These girls are the same as they were in HS. I will not return to this house!
PATRICIA GREEN
Everyone here seemed nice but after awkward conversations I had zero connections with anyone. I didn’t feel like I could be myself. Strictly on reputation if I get an invite back I‘ll give it another try.
PACIOTTI
The first girl I talked with didn’t seem to be interested in me or know anything about me. The next 2 girls I spoke with were very sweet and easy to talk with. I like it here and hope to come back.

dgdramadawg has asked that I comment on the Delta Gamma presentation so here goes.
The DG presentation was very polished. It was clear that they have had a long legacy at the Capstone, I know 2 from the seventies. I had already seen the pictures of their new house here on GC. OMG is it beautiful or what. Back to the presentation I think that many rushees that didn’t get their top choice may have dropped thinking about DG. Based on what I saw any rushee here at Bama would be proud to be a Delta Gamma.

TORY BURCH
Easy conversation with everyone I met. Very sweet girls, I hope to be invited back.
MANOLO BLAHNIK
I am really getting tired of all of this negative talk while waiting to go into some of these houses. The girls here were very nice to me. Several knew a lot about me and we had great conversations but it just didn’t seem to click for me.
VINCE CAMUTO
Didn’t get to see the girls I knew here today but had a good time and good conversations. I think that I really connected with one of them.
LOEFFLER RANDALL
I saw some of the girls I know but didn’t get to talk with any of them. Good conversation some hard laughing. I like them and hope to come back.
JIMMY CHOO
I only saw my friend from across the room but I had a great time and good conversations with the girls I felt several connections being made. Best time of the day, they all made me so very comfortable. Do I have to leave?
VALENTINO
I didn’t see the girls I know that are in this chapter. The ones I met were very nice and sweet. The conversations were easy and I think that I connected with one of them.
CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN
All the girls I met were so nice and all knew something about me. We had a nice conversation but I didn’t feel any connection.

The last two days have been brutal, my feet hurt and I am so tired.

My ranking after the first round are:
1 JIMMY CHOO and KATE SPADE
3 BETTYE MULLER
4 TORY BURCH
5 FOOTCANDY
6 VALENTINO
7 VINCE CAMUTO
8 EMMA HOPE
9 PACIOTTI
10 LOEFFLER RANDALL
11 CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN
12 PATRICIA GREEN
13 SIGERSON MORRISON
14 MANOLO BLAHNIK
15 HUNTER

I just couldn’t get excited about their philanthropy. Again very nice girls rushed me and I connected well with one. Still I had fun here today. I’m hoping for a third invitation.
FOOTCANDY
I didn’t seem to connect with the girls here today the way I did on Sunday. They were all still very nice. If I get invited back I’ll be happy to come, although they have dropped down my list.
BETTYE MULLER
Again I was matched with girls who knew a lot about me and two were in my major. I liked their philanthropy and their house is really pretty. I had fun talking with the girls I met. I really want to come back for the third round. Invite please!
VALENTINO
Again I had trouble connecting with a philanthropy. Talked with the girls I knew here today and it was a lot of fun but no strong connections. I hope to be invited back to get to know them better.
VINCE CAMUTO
I love their philanthropy, I was active in it in HS. The girls rushing me today were great and I connected with them.
JIMMY CHOO
What a great philanthropy. I had so much fun with the girls here today. I think I found my home, but what about Kate Spade? Can I just stay here and spend the night or at least a nap. I love it here!
Easier to read this way.

Philanthropy Party day 2

No wonder I never hear of anyone going to summer semester the humidity is just awful. I don’t remember ever coming here before September.

Day 4
EMMA HOPE
I can’t believe that I was invited back. On Sunday this was my first house and I was a disaster. I can barely remember being here on Sunday. Today was much more relaxed and the conversation followed. I didn’t seem to make any connections so I doubt I’ll be invited back
KATE SPADE
I love their philanthropy. The girls I was rushed by today were all so great and they really made me feel at home. Great conversations and connections again today. I LOVE THIS HOUSE!
PACIOTTI
They had the best presentation for their philanthropy of any house. I talked with nice girls today and had good conversation but I didn’t feel any real connection. I am willing to give it another try if I get invited back.
LOEFFLER RANDALL
Today I talked with some of girls I know in the house. It was OK but no connections here and the conversation seemed forced. . BTW my best friend just pledged here at UGA.

My ranking after today were:
1 JIMMY CHOO and KATE SPADE
3 BETTYE MULLER
4 TORY BURCH
5 VALENTINO
6 VINCE CAMUTO
7 PACIOTTI
8 EMMA HOPE
9 FOOTCANDY
10 LOEFFLER RANDALL

Strange, 15 to 10 sounds normal. What was the max? 11? 12? You actually have ALL your top ten...

As I stated I felt fortunate to have 10 invites, many had fewer. On my initial ranking of the chapters 8 – 13 were about the same. Yes I ranked them for a reason but there was very little difference. I naively expected 11 invites to Philanthropy Day. I had heard most cuts came after Philanthropy Day.

The cuts do tend to be worse after Philanthropy Day, but that doesn't mean it's a picnic after the first round.

SKIT PARTY

Day 5
Today is Skit Day I have heard so many stories of how great all the skits are. I can’t wait! Again I don’t have a full schedule, six invites for today. I was cut by one I really liked and wanted to get to know better, oh well I’m not a beauty queen.

VINCE CAMUTO
It was a great skit. I can tell all of the girls here really love their chapter and seem to get along so well together. What a fun group. Invite back please!
JIMMY CHOO
I am so excited to be back here again. I had great fun here today talking and laughing. There are so many great girls and all so nice to me. I seem to keeping connecting with every girl I meet. I love them all. It just seems so right being here. Can’t I just stop now?
KATE SPADE
But then there is my other fav. OMG they are all so nice and I just love it here with them. It just seems they all love each other so much and I want to be a part of that.
PACIOTTI
I feel I am in a daze after Jimmy Choo and Kate Spade. I need to concentrate on the skit here. The girls are still very nice and the conversation flows easily but still there is no connection here, especially after Jimmy Choo and Kate Spade.
LOEFFLER RANDALL
I feel as if I am on cruise control just moving along to the next house. The skit here was great and I feel I am finally out of my daze. I met more new girls here today and again talked with some that I knew from HS. I had fun with them all. I guess I could fit in here. It would be great to be sisters with my best friend.
VALENTINO
They had a fun skit and I see a strong bond between the girls. I met more new girls here today than any other house. The thing is I didn’t feel a strong connection with any of them. Still I would like to come back one more time.

My rankings after today were:
1 JIMMY CHOO and KATE SPADE
3 VALENTINO
4 VINCE CAMUTO
5 LOEFFLER RANDALL
6 PACIOTTI

The end is almost here

OMG today is Pref Day. I can’t believe that it’s almost over. Over 1700 of us started this journey and the finish line is in sight. Will I trip and fall on my face or break the tape? In some ways I wish there was another round. I am so conflicted between Jimmy Choo and Kate Spade. I love them both. I can really see myself being in each of these houses. I so need some help today.

PREFERENCE PARTY

Day 6
3 invites today, I haven’t had a full schedule since day 1. Yea, Jimmy Choo and Kate Spade are both still on my list. If not I would have died, although it might be easier if one had dropped me. I’m almost surprised to be invited back to the third house. I’ll give Loeffler Randall another try.

KATE SPADE
It was so beautiful I couldn’t help crying. I was paired with a girl from earlier that I had hoped might be my big if I receive a bid. They all talked about what it means to be a part of their sisterhood. I keep looking around to see who might be a part of my pledge class if I do get a bid here. I see a couple that I have met and like a lot. I hope I didn’t screw it up by telling them I could really see myself as a Kate Spade.
JIMMY CHOO
Again I cried as all was so beautiful and moving. All the girls here just make me feel so at home. Again I see several of the girls going through rush that I have gotten to know and like that are here tonight. It could be a great pledge class. Everything and everyone is so amazing!
LOEFFLER RANDALL
Poor Loeffler Randall I am so in love with Jimmy Choo and Kate Spade that they didn’t have a chance. Yes it was very nice and moving but the whole time I was there I kept thinking about Jimmy Choo and Kate Spade.
