In the meantime she has registered her name for COB and is doing her best to get the word out that she is interested. The chances are slim, but it's the best option right now. As time goes on the shock and disappointment of fall rush will lessen and she will be ok and hopefully she might get a bid someday.

2. Sorry your daughter didn't get into a "good" sorority.
She probably could have been Greek if she had filled out her pref card. Seeing how all chapters made quota, I highly doubt anyone is COBing. On the off chance that there are chapters COBing, it would probably be the ones she deemed herself too good to join.
