Interesting. That's one of the reasons I recommend not listing a sorority by name on a resume. I used to do a lot of resume counseling, and you just never know when someone's ex sister-in-law might be an XYZ, and the hiring official just hates them right now. I recommend listing the leadership positions, but simply saying "... for my sorority chapter of xx members." Ditto for fraternities, and things like Young Democrats or Young Republicans. No need to have a hiring official toss the resume before you get a chance to meet face-to-face.
And to be on topic, one of my nurses during my last two hospital stays is an Alpha Chi Omega.
