Oklahoma State 2011
Oklahoma State University had bid day on Saturday! Does anyone here know quota? I've been reading that KD got 65 or 63. ZTA got 64, according to one my my facebook friends. Total on OSU's campus is 160.
Maybe I'll have to wait until the O'Colly posts the bid list.

My best friend's little sister pledged ZTA. She seems very happy and she's a great girl.

The OK State Bid list is notoriously late coming out. Frustrating that the O'Colly isn't more timely! An oklahoma City alum said KD got 65.
When I was an active, back when dinosaurs roamed the earth, Total was 100. Greek life has always been strong at OSU, even in the 60's and 70's, but many more are going through recruitment today. I'm glad to hear that AOPi is coming on campus. In the 70's there were 12 chapters, so they could really use a couple more now. Living in the house for 2 to 3 years is a strong tradition there--not like some campuses where most people never live in, or at the most live in one year. With pledge classes of mid 60's and total creeping towards 200, that tradition will fade quickly.
Who knows something about the AOPi colonization? Where will they be housed? etc. etc. I hope there are some great legacies on campus and women with friends in the OU and Ark. chapters who are just waiting for that colonization to start.

Just an FYI, the ZTA house in Stillwater is one of my all time favorites.. an old 1920s Tudor that has been beautifully treasured over the years.

AOPi is working hard to get a house as soon as possible, but they haven't purchased any land in Stillwater yet. PNMs during recruitment this year went to an information session about AOPi and there were AOPi representatives at the other chapters to observe door songs and recruitment logistics.

Thanks. I hope they do well, and that they get a house/land soon. That will be important in Stillwater. I don't think it's as landlocked as some campuses are.
