It also shows that all young women 99% of the time have a really hard time shutting out the negative crap. This stuff can bring the strongest girl to their knees. So as we go through this recruitment season, realize emotions are running high and most people are here for the right reason....looking for support from other people going through the same thing (that means PNMs, Moms, and Actives)

Yeah, I was so blessed to have my mom's supportive ear and her unbiased, logical voice. She never pushed me towards any decision other than to at least stick it out through Preference. And while it's an obvious statement, hearing her say "Well, two of these sororities really liked you where the other ones unfortunately didn't as much, you best think about if you want to take your chances or take a guarantee that obviously 90 other girls have enjoyed for four years". Things you can read online, know with common sense, but sometimes your family just puts it in perspective!
I just want anyone going through recruitment that starts to falter to realize a lot of people have been there. Sometimes, those same girls that are recruiting you to their chapter at one point weren't sure about it themselves, but they stuck around so it must have something to offer
