On second thought, I'm not leaving. I am not yet ready to make contact with local chapters, so I asked my question here. I don't think the question is "basic info", because if it were I'd have found the answer elsewhere. I didn't find the answer, so I posted here. Those who don't want to answer don't have to. But to reply just for the purpose of publically dressing me down, however mildly, is just lame. That said,
I got the message and won't publically ask NPHC membership questions anymore, especially since I've been contacted by several NPHC members and told I can PM them when I have questions.
I appreciate the GC members who were "feeling generous and polite enough" to welcome me to GC, including those who also PM'd me and gave me advice without being condescending. I appreciate you all for recognizing that although you have what I want, that doesn't make me any less than you. Thank you for treating me with respect. My most humble thanks to you ladies and gentleman.
