How about - it's up the the individual guy when he should get married, and not his parents or his friends or society should tell him he's too old or too young? (Except in the case of minors.)
I know lots of men in that age bracket who have no trouble dating. Of course, if he's never had a girlfriend by that age, that's a different story.
