Holy bridal clavicals, Batman! And why are most of the bridesmaids not really smiling?
(I'll just add a rant.... I'm sooooo over strapless gowns. Over.)

I'm tired of bridesmaids continually digging their fingers into the tops of their strapless gowns and pulling them up. Do they ever fit?

^^^^I've worn strapless gowns as a maid but never pulled or tugged. By the time you've been through like 3 fittings, it fits so well that you shouldn't need to (unless you lose weight after your last one.)

Not my experience at all, unless they make it so tight that you can barely breathe. I hate strapless. This may depend largely on your body type.

I've never had a problem keeping up anything strapless after it's been fitted. I'm also almost a member of the itty bitty committee, so that may have something to do with it. If I were going to choose a maid's dress, I'd probably choose something with straps just because a strapless dress rarely looks good on every single member of a bridal party.

I'm tired of seeing BRIDES tugging up the front of their strapless gowns, not to mention the hundreds of bridesmaids put through strapless horror, myself included. There is nothing "strapless" that goes with natural DD's. Get the thing tight enough to keep the girls up, and then you can't breath or eat all night. Hell, that goes for spaghetti straps too. I hope that when my siblings get married, they don't ask me to be in the bridal party.

I'ma big fan of the "here's the color for the dresses, pick a style that looks good on you in that color" brides. Especially with places that have dresses in all styles made from the same fabric...what's the difference if one looks good in a strapless and another in a one-shoulder and another in a sweetheart? Wouldn't you rather they all look good than cookie cutter?

There is no reason a bride should ever be tugging on her dress if it has been fitted correctly. Most of them have enough boning to hold them up all by themselves.
Now, some of those flimsy bridesmaid dresses....that's another matter.

Yeah, I think that that bouquet is mostly cacti. That's certainly a new one.
