We'll have to have a GC meet up, Guitar! You'll be fine. The events are not hard to get to. They won't chop of your head if you miss something.
I missed closing ritual last time because I had a migraine. I didn't want to miss it because it's my favorite thing, but it couldn't be helped. Nothing happened. That being said, just don't go skipping stuff for the hell of it!
