I remember in undergrad, we would have to share the limited copies of the organization's history books, available in the campus library. However, the internet has made a lot of information quite accessible. My suggestion would be to start with the national website of the organization. I cannot offer any other assistance, but the national website will provide you with all of the information that you need to know.

On the internet and on discussion boards I always see members of the NPHC advising interested persons of these organizations to do their research. I was wondering If anyone had any particular books or sources that they would reccommend to us "newbies" to assist in our research?
Also, what would be the correct or most appropriate way to approach members of the desired organization to let them know of your interest?
