Oh and there was a recent indictment for someone who happened to father a child and allegedly use campaign money to cover it up, while his wife was dying from cancer.

I always feel bad for the wife/husband/partner and/or kids when these things happen. Perhaps there was an agreed upon arrangement or they knew, and now everyone knows and they can't deal with it privately.
