Churchill Downs (Louisville) has Friday races and then concerts or DJs/parties at night. it's called Downs After Dark or something. there are some pretty big Saturday races. i think the $100,000 Debutante is in June. there are some food festivals in Louisville during the summer. Greek food, Soul Food, etc.
there may be a Beer Cheese festival in Winchester this coming weekend. but even if it doesn't rain, it'll probably be damn near 95 degrees. i'd rather get a cooler and float/canoe and camp.
