Hard Rock Cafe
On June 24th 2002, Hard Rock - PITTSBURGH will open its doors. How f'ing cool is that?! The 'burgh got a Hard Rock! Our guitar was delivered the other day!

The one in Vancouver opened back in 95 (I think) and there was also one in Whistler however all Hard Rocks in Western Canada closed down about a year ago. And I believe the Vancouver Planet Hollywood is gone too.

I can't get into it, and I've tried. I guess there are so many other restaurants which serve the same menus (Bennigans, TGIFridays, O'Charleys, Applebees, the list goes on) that I can't get excited about one with a musical motif. Same goes for Planet Hollywood, although that was the only place in Rome where I could get nachos. It is cool that Pittsburgh is getting one, though.

How appropriate...a HRC thread on a Wednesday. Wednesday nights in Honolulu are HRC nights because it means the SPLIT101 party will be going off tonight!

Guam
Hong Kong

Atlanta
Houston
...and I've gotten a glass from each of those places!

I don't think I've been to any HRCs, even the one in New Orleans. We thought about having my deb luncheon there, but decided against it because it would be applebees hamburgers at $15/head.
But I do have a T-Shirt from the one in St. Thomas. My guy's parents brought it back for me a few years ago.

I have only been to the one in Cancun.
