It's not as well known a song here; lots of people would probably recognize the melody, and it is in our songbook, but only the first verse.

They still sing it here at most colleges at the opening af the academic year. That's why the NMs (and NMs of most other GLOs here) learn the song

Oh man, I don't know how I'm going to survive an Oklahoma summer. I'm dying here, and it's been in the 80s the past few days. When it hits 120, I'm out. Plus, the sudden swing from cool to hot has made my hip joint KILL.

It's already summer here. It's way too hot here. So hot that the AC in my office was set to 66, but couldn't get below 80. Stupid wall of windows!
