I've been going through historic photos of chapters around the University of Wisconsin- Madison. I've mostly been looking at buildings, but here are a couple of ones with people in them:

This one's going on some invites I'm sending out for our annual Alumnae/Graduating Seniors Spring Lunch. It's 4 Gamma Phi Betas from the class of 1944, just after finishing finals:




And this one I call, "Depression? What depression?!"
It's outside the Kappa Alpha Theta house at 237 Lakelawn Place (since demolished; they're in a different building now).

It's always a little shocking to me to be reminded of how tiny women used to be back in the day. These pictures are fab!

Those ringer t-shirts were the ugliest things. I had some as a 9 year old and even at that young age realized they were ugly.

On that AXO composite, Sarah Jane McCormick looks just a little overenthusiastic, doesn't she? If she wasn't a graduating se4nior, you know that she got teased about her picture!
