Possibly on E bay, they come in different sizes/colors/beading patterns. I also found them at our yearly summer street/crafts fair so it seems they have local vendors (or it's another similar company.)

I have a couple of friends who have African crafts companies and make beaded or wood accessories. They don't have these in stock so I must buy elsewhere.

That's cool, if they have websites and such please share the links. I think these are patented although they do have distributors/affiliates and such, but they're not available around here outside of the street fair. I should check the State Fair this summer to see if they're there too.
