AA has also done a lot to support/cater to the gay community so I found it quite amusing to read that he wears AA but doesn't dress like a FAG.

Support for the gay community =/= gay uniform. Spectrum and such...

I know you say you were being tongue-in-cheek, but still.

NO. And I say that being Northern and all. Those "funny slogans" lost their funniness for most people when they reached legal driving age.

Can you still wear them around the house or to be grubby in? Yes. Should they be a daily wardrobe choice or something you wear to a party? No. I mean...they're shirts made for jr high and HS guys who want to think they're wearing what college students are wearing. (Not a new concept in general)

No. My opinion is questions has got to be a joke. They aren't making you wear certain things because it's required for a pledge pin. They're doing it because it defines social class. Pacsun/AA/etc define a social class of hippsters and weirdos that no one in a fraternity ever wants to see from across the quad, much less be associated with. If you have both VV and AA in your closet, you are very confused individual. Grow up and fix your life.

Never heard of any 4-S rule. We had to have it all the time we weren't in our room. Either on with collared shirt or pinned thru the inside of our pocket if wearing a T-shirt. We did have girls swipe pins and pledge books for minor entertainment though.

...............
So you do it by making 'gay' an insult? Cool so I'll keep calling you out then.
Lay off the guy already.

You're not calling him out, you're pointing out the obvious. So what if he used "gay" as an insult. Who would ever imagine a fraternity guy doing something like that?

You're spending a whole lot of time demanding people respect homosexuality. You don't get to impose your beliefs on anyone else any more than they get to do so on you. Just think the guy is an ass and move on. Who cares.

That's a BS response.

Anyway -- it's been several days and both posters have stopped talking about this issue, so it looks like she did "lay off" in this thread.

Once again, it is 33girl's fault that dnall is all over the place like this.

And his post was complete bullshit.

I think I've posted in two threads in the last several weeks, so all over the place? Sorry I didn't realize that aspect of the conversation was probably over with.

I don't really care if you think my response was BS or not. You should probably just get over that.

So, you decided to call me out and try to impose your beliefs on me?

Doh.

You're an ass, and an idiot (oh no, I'm so mean.) Don't try and bring all fraternity members down to your level of homophobia and heterosexism.

I don't even know what homosexim is. I'm not remotely homophobic. Being tolerant of others is one thing. Being accepting is quite another. Bullying someone around because they called a straight guy gay is no more acceptable than him calling the guy gay in the first place. Just get over it already.

Passing off the use of a derogatory term as a "boys will be boys" situation is bullshit.

And @ the bold -- if you don't want to talk about it, then stop posting.

No, we ALL have to stop posting about it. That means we've gotten over it. It's comparable to "agree to just disagree."

Right, hence Drolefille's response to PiKA. If you grasp this, why did you respond as you did to Drolefille?

LOL @ you thinking you have the last word on a convo that had nothing to do with you. You could've just shut up and let the convo end where PiKA and Drolefille left it.
