Some people refer to them as "whip scorpions" but they're also called "whip spiders". There's several species. There's even micro-whip scorpions. They're really cool.

How big do they get? That thing is kinda awesome looking.

Aren't they the coolest? If you don't include the flagellum, they can range in sizes from an inch to about 4 inches in length. A lot of people think they're scorpions, but they're actually called uropygids (uropygi order).
