Just saw this...The house dog at Sigma Zeta at the University of Michigan had been hit by a car and the brothers put together a huge fund raising effort to be able to pay for the surgery to repair his dislocated elbow. Not the humane society is looking into its mistreatment and on top of it all, IHQ suspended the poor kid for having the dog in the house.

On another note, does anyone else find it interesting that Sigma is the only chapter house still willingly owned by IHQ. Not LCAP, but IHQ, and they didn't try to liquidate it with the rest of LCAP's properties. Why the special treatment? My guess is George Spysak told them not to and that was the end of that. Too bad other chapter houses aren't given the same care and attention.
