I'm sorry you misunderstood my post.
Stick out of my ass? Is that the best you got?

The OP's question was if she could join as a junior. Based on her post, she was concerned that being an upperclassmen would eliminate her as a possible candidate for membership...

But you responded with this:

.. which isn't true, because she IS eligible. Which is what Splash said here:

Then you started talking about not being able to pledge if you don't get a bid (which no one ever brought up).

Don't assume anything.

No one assumed anything.
knight_shadow kindly re-stated this and emphasized both Splash's point, and yours:

You continued on with your point (with an unnecessary smiley..)

Then knight_shadow asked a question...

And you flipped out.

Back to the OP.
Yes, juniors can go through recruitment and many are pledged. Even many of the most competitive campuses are establishing a junior quota.
Enjoy your first two years at community college. Get involved, keep your grades above a 3.0 (some chapters have even higher gpa requirements depending upon the campus profile), watch what you have out there on social networks and guard your reputation.
If you are going to a super competitive greek campus (usually thought to be clustered in the southern areas of the country), start now looking for women that can write a recommendation for you. If your campus is super competitive you will need a recommendation per house.
I am sorry for the rudeness and foul language that appeared on the board. At least it was not directed at you, as sometimes happens. You would think that a young woman who has graduated from college and joined a sorority would have a better grasp of the English language as well as a sense of decorum.
