Having never read the book, I'm actually surprised at how much in the movie is based on reality, since movies like this are usually almost totally fantasy. It's cool that Leigh Anne and Sue got together at a sorority function.
An Alpha Gam and Phi Mu from my campus are extras with face time on screen. (They play some of Collins's friends).
