If you've not heard Guards...you should REALLY give them a listen...they're like a significantly better version of Arcade Fire...and Warpaint is incredible too...I've gotten to see them twice [got a pass to see them a third time at the Studio at Webster Hall, but it conflicted with my Radio Dept. show ]

I was able to convince my friend to perform a jazz rendition of "The Sprout and the Bean" at one of her shows...it was fantastic
