I have NEVER heard of such organizations before...they're down south????? I've never seen any of them. I think that is a bit much. I think that if they're into baseball, they should just be into "baseball"...don't just throw "Phi" in the middle of it and think it makes you Greek. I know there are a lot of independent sororities (like mine), but when mine was founded (since I can only speak for us), it had very little to do with just wanting to play a sport or anything like that.

From an independent org's standpoint, it bothers me when I hear about that type of stuff because now everyone thinks that all independent orgs are trying to just "be greek" for the wrong reasons...which is not true.
