Epic Mickey today!!!

I really shouldn't. Especially since Cataclysm comes out next week but it soooooooo tempting. I've been looking forward to this game for a while now and its here. The fiance already said she wasn't getting me video games as a gift so I may just have to bite the bullet even though she has my Wii lol

I got the Little Moonkin last night. That is by far the cutest thing in WoW right now. And I never thought I would buy a pet but I love it.

So as I went online to play Reach, Live informed me that I hadn't bought the map pack that came out and I should go to the Marketplace. Okay Halo, I'll play your game...

I don't know F, I, J, and U.

I would probably know U if I were up on my Pokemon.

ok, for all the geeks.......IPad or laptop?

That is the question that the school district is asking us. All teachers are suppose to get a new laptop (the last time they got one was like 5-7 years ago) this month, but now they are asking which would we prefer.

They already told us what laptop it would be---an HP ProBook. But now they are asking us to decide whether we'd prefer that laptop or an IPad.

I know we have some die-hard Apple fans, and some diehard anti-Apple fans, but I would like a realistic opinion of which one you all would prefer. I would do a lot of grading/word processing/ powerpoint stuff, and then who knows what else I could use the ipad for (if I ever became an english teacher i know it would be good for reading books).

Anyone have any ideas/opinions?

if you are doing a lot of work intensive stuff...get a laptop.

The iPad is more of a consumable device not a producable one.

^This.

Tablets whether iPads or the Android ones or Windows based or whatever are nice, but they're not as functional as a laptop is.

Also I had a bit of a scare last night with my xbox...and hopefully I can resolve this issue tonight....my DVD drive is not recognizing any disks! Hopefully after a cleaner it will work, please!

I do not need withdrawal syndrome right now

If those are your needs then a laptop hands down.
