Co-sign on the mass text services. We used GIN system for all our communications and technology stuff, and I think it worked well. I never personally sent out a message that way, but they seem to have an option to send out a message via email, text or both. We usually just got things sent to use via mass email, but if something was urgent, we got a mass text with it too.
