Not sure which USC you go to, but they both have formal recruitment in August. I assume by "summer months" you actually mean "summer term", in which case, no, there is no summer recruitment.

Even if chapters have summer recruitment events (which may or may not be ok with the Campus Panhellenic), they can't extend bids, and you don't have a bid until you have a bid, no matter what they promise you.

But yeah, why would you want to go through recruitment in the summer when only a small fraction of the chapter is there, and probably not occupying the house?
