I have "strongly suggested" the girls get out and go to events, they don't have to drink but at least go and be out and about. We also did mini makeovers and helped them showcase their best physical features and helped them build more self confidence. We are also sending treats to all the greek houses and cards on the Founder's Days. It's a work in progress but there is a part of me that wonders if nothing is going to work.
We do use the RFM on our campus and though the new system is suppose to help the weakest chapters and "help achieve parity" it isn't working. The other 3 houses are pretty equal and then there is us in distant 4th.
Don't get me wrong, the girls in our house are amazing - they have worked their butts off and all us alums are supe proud of them. I think that is why I am doing my best to help them. They truly represent the spirit of Phi Mu. I just wish others could see that there is more to being in a sorority besides superficial things. That's just too hard to explain and market to the PNMs.
