I can't lie, there's something about this one that I kindof love. I mean, atrocious as a wedding gown, but as a gown in general, makes me kindof wish that giormous skirts like that were still in fashion.

Prom dresses in the 80s often had tiers and hoops...

ETA: Eons ago (too lazy to find the dates), bridesmaids dressed like the bride to fool men with intentions to kidnap a bride and/or steal her dowry. I also read that the bridal party of both genders wore similar clothing to the bride and groom so as to ward off bad luck directed at the couple.
