Creative and Outrageous Vanity Plates

what a fun thread...

I tried for DAYS to find a CA vanity plate that was available, and ended up getting RAVNCLW because GRYFNDR and SLYTHRN were taken...any other Harry Potter fans out there (yes I'm obsessed but I'm also a children's librarian)?? Also taken were NMBUS2K, FIREBLT (which is the plate I almost got in Illinois, two weeks before I found out I was moving to SoCal) and NMBS2K1. I thought about getting AUSNTCH (Golden Snitch), but not everyone is as sharp as Steeltrap and I figured if I was going to get vanity plates other people should be able to read them, even if they don't get the reference. Other plates I've seen in Illinois:

CKTNBLST (Seek the Noblest)

ZTA1898 (year of founding)

MTSUZTA (pretty obvious--- my school & ZTA)

A friend of mine somehow got FAAHQ past the DMV. Stumped...nope, it's has nothing to do with the federal aviation headquarters...give up. F*** You! And he still has them to this day. People are always honking at him!

My dad wants RMEQUE (Army Que). Guess Why. Mom wants 20PRLS (guess what she is! )

So I'm reading through this old thread and come across this post! That is my best friends cousin's vanity plate! I remember her telling me a story about how this guy came up to her and asked 'Is your name Fin-ahka'! I was on the FLOOR!!

I've also seen another plate on a Mercedes that said NO KIDS and another one that said AND SO!
